Many people have heard of Pilates but assume it's only for a certain type of person or fitness level. In reality, Pilates can be adapted to meet individual needs and abilities. Whether someone is new to Pilates or has years of experience, each session is tailored to the individual. Sessions are fully guided by a licensed therapist and adjusted through ongoing feedback and conversation.
My studio is fully equipped for private, duet, and trio Reformer sessions, as well as one-on-one instruction on the Cadillac, Chair, Barrel, and Mat. Each piece of equipment serves a different purpose, providing different types of support, resistance, and feedback. Rather than using the same equipment for everyone, I choose the apparatus that best matches each client's needs and the goals of the session.
I studied Art at Boston University and Laban Movement Analysis at Hampshire College. I’m a licensed massage therapist with a master’s certification (MMT) in Myoskeletal Alignment Technique®. Helping people move better is the motivating factor behind everything I do.
I taught Mat Pilates at local fitness centers before joining Resolution Physical Therapy in Atlanta, where I learned to combine structured movement with traditional therapy to support recovery. In 2007, I earned my NCPT and shortly after opened Discipline Pilates Studio, where I continue to teach equipment sessions, practice massage therapy, and lead teacher training.
